Quilts Waiting For the Binding
As you can see, I have two quilts with the binding sewn on by the sewing machine, all ready to go with the hand work. I am fairly pleased with the quilting detail for the 'around the block' quilt, but the other quilt (on the right) is very basic so less pleasing. I tried to do as much quilting as possible on the ATB quilt freehand which is incredible in how much time it saves me. I hope to do more in the future as I get more proficient. lol! Sometimes I wonder why I quilt when various parts of the process seem so tedious (like hand sewing on binding) until I get a complete and totally FINISHED quilt and then it's like AAAahhhhhh!!!! I did that? Really, me? Too cool.:)

Hey,
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to let you know that I'm now following your blog. I've just started my own quilting blog, and I've been browsing through blogger-land to see who's out here. I find your quilts to be absolutely stunning. 3 minutes of looking at your pics and I feel inspired to start a dozen different new projects! Thank you <3
Paula
