Today's for Binding Work
I don't know why I always put the binding work off, but that's the way things usually happen around here. I am happy to say that there is now only one side of this quilt that the binding is not hand stitched down!
Yay me! I might actually get a real finish for 2013 before the end of today.*wink Go check out what everyone else is doing by hand today over at Kathy's. She's got a great little post about chaos theory that makes me think about raising kids. You really can't overlook anything 'cuz everything matters in the end.:)

I always put the binding off too. It's my least favourite of the whole quilting process, but yet so satisfying to get to the finish!
ReplyDeleteYes...so true about raising kids. You just never know what sticks with them and how they will respond.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on being so close to a finish on this beautiful quilt!
Thanks for linking up with Slow Sunday Stitching!
Beautiful quilt! That was a fast finish.
ReplyDeleteI never put the binding off because once it is on it is finished and I always look forward to the finish and using it. I put it on as soon as I finish the quilting :)
ReplyDeleteI have one quilt that I have put off binding for a couple years. It is just like a piece of the scenery when I walk by it. I don't know why I have let it go so long as I really don't mind doing binding.
ReplyDeleteThere is something so satisfying about taking that last binding stitch. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like such a pretty quilt. I hope you were able to finish the binding.
ReplyDeleteYay! a finish soon. I like doing the binding, it is the borders and backing I dislike.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. I didn't get much binding sewn this weekend but am chopping at the bit to get my Jubilee done!
ReplyDeleteLovely quilt...I don't put the binding off. My problem is with the final borders. I love to do binding. Maybe we should trade off and we can get more quilts done!
ReplyDeleteHow cute colors!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck finishing. :)
