There again, that would be quite a challenge: making things fit without squaring up!Marlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13395982229464502358noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5297789041481934828.post-59150288549904250292017-07-01T12:24:27.042-07:002017-07-01T12:24:27.042-07:00Love your little baskets! The point is, you make your own rules and usually each quilt gets a different set of rules. You're doing great! I think improv is a lot of fun, and I'm glad you do too.Sharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07498453213057487052noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5297789041481934828.post-8511553046343727572017-06-30T12:38:24.974-07:002017-06-30T12:38:24.974-07:00I like where this is headed!
In regard to "m...I like where this is headed!
In regard to "may seem like a cheater thing to do in an improv quilt"...I don't think so. You are making it up as you go along and not following a pattern so you are improvising whether you square up your blocks or not. Improv (to me) means improvise and improvising can be done in a number of ways from substituting fabric when you run out of one to adding a touch of yourself to even a traditional quilt.

Anyway...carry on...great job...I admire your applique especially since it's not my thing!Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12793711897790110579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5297789041481934828.post-25422638161201745722017-06-30T09:03:01.047-07:002017-06-30T09:03:01.047-07:00Great baskets!
