Halfway to Somewhere

Looky what I'm working on again still. Sewing the eyes on one by one.
Pickle Dish/Wedding Ring Progress--looking
kind of vintage in this picture!
It's an awkward process because the melons are largish and a bit stiff from the paper, but you know I am prevailing. That's the kind of quilter I am.*wink
Things are getting done around here...
Looks like I am over the halfway mark now, so that's good. With every eye I sew on, I am more and more pleased with the peppered cotton blue I bought. Can I just say 'scrumptious'?

  1. I just came into some vintage eyelash sections....no inner melon shape and no outer fabric. I am going to blog about them on Monday. I may have to go back and check out all your posts on these to figure them out.
Yours is beautiful, love all that red.

A question about the blue ~ is that the new Pepper Cory shot cotton? More info please! It looks textured in your photo...?
