Everyone With Daily Exposure to Teenagers Should Hand Quilt

A good mix of florals, plaids, prints and small geometrics, a classic block pattern in a classic setting and hand quilting. What more could I ask for to calm my half crazed, teenager assaulted brain waves? A solidly built concrete wall to bang my head against wouldn't accomplish half as much......
This is a gorgeous, warm & cozy, albeit slightly old fashioned quilt that I'm hand quilting of late. Being as how it's summer time, it's been very slow going. My husband tries to encourage me by opening all the windows in the evening and getting a nice little breeze blowing through the living room. Okay, that's may have more to do with the fact that he's very warm blooded and adamant about saving on the electric bill these days (no AC unless it's 100 degree temps OR ELSE), but it just so happens to help motivate his quilter girl extraordinaire. That and the teenager mood swing pendulum. Ack! I wonder what would happen if I started working in reds and blacks?
